How It Works

How It Works

Every second Sunday, I announce my new challenge.  Challenges might be anything from witchcraft practices to wellness actions to (w)holistic regimens.  Each challenge will start on Monday and run for nine days.  I will post occasional updates during the challenge.  On the Wednesday following the conclusion of the challenge, I will post my reflections about how the challenge went – what went well, what didn’t work, what part was the most challenging, and so on.

The purpose of each challenge is to try out new habits, systems, and lifestyle changes that I feel might help me build my optimum witchcraft practice and witchy lifestyle.  Challenges will never be unsustainable or based on a fad.  Some habits might be for short-term benefit, say to help me get over a cold.  Other habits, I will be auditioning to determine if they will be a beneficial addition to my witchcraft practice or witchy lifestyle.

After three challenges, I will consider whether or not I want to re-run a challenge, tweak a challenge, expand a challenge, incorporate it as a permanent part of my witchy lifestyle, or place it in the “not for me” pile.

Who Is “That Witch”?

Who Is “That Witch”?

“That Girl” is a wellness archetype that was born of TikTok in 2021.  Though there have been plenty of detractors of the “That Girl” trend, the idea of striving toward a lifestyle filled with wellness, balance, and purpose is inarguably an admirable goal.

As part of my journey along the Path of the Craft, I want to live my optimum witch life.  But what is the optimum life for a witch?  Well, to begin with, it’s something different for every witch.

This site is devoted to my experiments and trials while building a sustainable witchcraft practice and witchy lifestyle.  Follow along with me, as I become  “That Witch”.
